All,
While this post is available for all to read, the information here is mostly addressed to forum only members as they lack full access to the website.
The G4 Owners Club will have a fantastic stand at this major show, so this is a great chance for you to come and see a great display of G4 cars and equipment, as well as put names (or avatars) to faces and meet with fellow G4 enthusiasts.
We will have a dedicated membership area within the stand where Liz (A.C.T.) or myself will be around to provide details of membership benefits or any other information you might want to know.
Additionally, there is a great choice of attractions to get the entire family entertained.
For information about tickets and other attractions, please use the link to the show organisers website: www.lro.show.com (unfortunately access to discounted weekend tickets is one of the benefits exclusive to club members, but you still have time to join ahead of the show) Looking forward to meet you there and if you are planning to attend, please let us know! Augusto & Liz G4OC Membership team.

Thankyou for your kind comments. The guys and girls in Teamtombraider are as proud as punch to have won the award , but not as proud as our kids were when they went to pick up the prize:D it took a lot of assurance to the event orgainizers as regards to health and saftey and public liability to be able to bring the low loader and crane .and the thing most seemed to enjoy was the Rebel Replica:hehe::hehe::hehe: question is ...what do we do next year:w00t::w00t::w00t: thanks again , and always a pleasure to see you guys. This show weekend ranked amongst the best we have had to date. The feedback from the public and members has been excellent, with several new recruits and renewals of membership (last renewal at 5.30 on Sunday!). Some more pictures please Chris. After a wet start on Friday, we had two fantastic days of sunshine and fun. Truly a team effort as posted by Augusto in the members only section. On Saturday evening we held the members bbq with contribution of effort from all. BBQ masters were Mark and Simon, with Kim preparing the kebabs. For 2009, we intend to continue and build upon this year. We hope to also take part in the smaller UK and european events so that many more members can take part. So if you haven't joined yet, I would urge you to do so. We are a friendly and dedicated bunch who enjoy their G4 vehicles and follow the challenge closely.:)

A VIP! - Andrew Grieve - Runner up from 2006 for Team UK - and ready for the national selections in 2 months time ... Good Luck!

Adrian .. obviously puzzled by the spare bit!

Everyone lent a hand ......

Everyone lent a hand ......

Everyone lent a hand ......

And to solve this puzzle once and for all --- MINE really is the best G4 D3 ... (its clearly the one on the left!) :-)
A great weekend --- wonderful company and superb teamwork!
Good Job Team G4OC!

I am really going to have to object to this - as the only D3 left on showroom spec Wrangler HP's rather than these fancy MT/R's, mine is definitely the best!!!!!Should be changing tyres in the spring though ;)

Thought I would move my post to this thread ...tough day today at work with all the financial world in turmoil and the bank I work for buying Merrill Lynch..
While its is very hard to put in words the transforming experience we had at Peterb last weekend, I would like to give it a go and hopefully capture key messages for those that unfortunately could not attend.
Atmosphere: The camaderie seen among the vast majority of members was outstanding and I believe not seen at previous events, with all working together on the manning of the stand, preparing the barbeques and breakfasts and also helping dismantling all the kit on Sunday.
Effort: The disruption in the show organisation was minimal, however this was only possible as a lot of people reached out to help the club put in a great display. All the kit was collected and transported to a new location, then sorted and prepared for the show.
The previous stand team remained 100% supportive to the club, with Adrian ensuring a good coordination. Emon & family thanks for storaging all the stuff and helping out.
The stand had a new layout that looked the part, inviting people to come inside the show area and see the cars, equipment etc. Also the tangiers convoy in the arena was clearly the best of the lot.
Gert has prepared a nice catalog with the support from Simon (who came all the way from Germany risking a breakdown with his not so tidy 2nd or 3rd best G4 D3 in the world) and Adam has made very nice plans for the barbie (although unfortunately he could not attend for family bereavement: but we thought of you there dude!). Ozworth also brought a wide range of original G4 stuff that was music to ears for most of us!
New members such as Mark & Melanie, Chris & Petra & Shaun, Russ & wife (sorry forgot her name) Paul Ozworth, quickly joined older members present (Jim Carr, Mark & Dave, Andy Mole, Kim & Chris, Martin & Carol, Erasmus, Alan Edwards & family, Chris Bale & wife) and had a great time together.
Special thanks for Mark& Melanie and Alex Hartley for looking after my daughter Julia for most of the day!
Once again thank you very much for all of you, it was a pleasure organising this event and I'm looking forward for future outings with the G4OC!!
