Can anyone help determine a few things for me? I am looking for the following information:

- How does the rear spot lamp on the Disco operate (i.e. switch on back, while in reverse, switch on dash, etc)?

- Is the main relay box that is installed in the battery box (control box for Warn lights) wired to control the rear spot lamp as well?

- Are the rear spot lamp functions integrated into the BCU?

- Does anyone have a master schematic for the main relay box or know who manufactured the item?

- Does anyone have a detailed and close up photo of how the rear spot lamp bracket attaches to the SD rack?

Thanks in advance and I appreciate any information you can provide.

danny

rear spot lamp is wired to the front via a relay, the lamp switches on / off via a twist on the back of the lamp, indepndent of ignition on / off

long job to trace the wiring back through the roof rack, down the raised air intake, along the bulk head/ fire wall to the off side and then mine appears to be "lost" just before the relays in front of the battery

To help answer your last question... Does your rack have a mounting already there?

The work lamp is a standard Lucas part (RTC8921 – Lucas Worklamp LDB732) and has the mounting already built in. All it needs is a bracket, with a hole and a locating lug which stops the unit from swiveling around.
