Hello Ladies & Gents,

it has been a while since I've been here ( professional and personal reasons:crazy:

but I'm not posting this message just for fun ...

Recently I got in contact with the guys from Boab concerning one of their off-road trailers. I'm interested in buying this one ==>

I was wondering if someone of you has experience with this type of off-road trailer. I'm not that much worried about the trailer itself, but more about the tent.

Is the material used fit to our European type of weather ( rain, wind, rain, more rain, sun, ... ) ??

thx all in advance for your feedback :)

Dust Proof 2 Partition ‘Under Bed’ pullout Stainless Steel Draw (pantry)

Aluminium Powder Coated Kitchen Unit, with ‘splash back’ & Foldout End Table

Under Bed Storage Locker

Aluminium Powder Coated Drawbar Locker

Front Stone Guard (removable)

Front Stone Guard Mud Flaps

Hi Emon,

thx for your reply, and yes you are absolutely wright about handling the gear... but the most important for me to know was if the canvas cloth is "adapted" to our european weather ;)

for the rest of the checklist, I'm confident about the quality

so this year I'll be investing in the trailer :D and of course I'll keep you informed with pictures and reports :)

you need to look at the comparative wieghts of the cotton canvas, i would hope that european markets would have modern quick drying breathable fabrics due to the little hot drying times from our summers, wheras the austrailian version will have heavy traditional canvas able to withstand the high ambient temperatures and mostly the use to which they will be put, combined with the way an exped is conducted in aus as opposed to the shorter distances here in europe.

remember cotton canvas needs soaking to expand the seams first time out.
