Hello to allalthough i follow from time to time your news, and since im developing the idea of owning a G4 i decided to register and request some info on DISCO 3 G4 a) do LHD disco3 G4 with 7 seats arrangement exist (V8 or TDV6)? b) are the RHD discos higher specs than the LHD ones? c) is there any LDH G4 TDV6?? thnk u

Apart from the 5 seats, the LHD are the same spec as the RHD.

Not as far as I know...
I checked this a while ago for the 2006 cars; the RHD V8's were actually built as 7 seaters but most had the rear two seats removed when they were being kitted out. All the LHD V8's were built as 5 seaters .

Actually the 2006 LHD one's were built to European spec and the RHD's to UK spec which is slightly different. Can't remember off the top of my head what the difference is exactly though.

There were some that were used on selections in Norway and possibly elsewhere, not sure how many though.

Mark, did I see you heading south on the A41 bypass about 6.30pm tonight just before Hemel Hempstead? Flashed the lights without thinking as I was in the Prius heading north :w00t:

Mark, last time I saw your G4 it was still naked, have you put the kit on now?
If you want to have another look, it's approx 400yds from you at the moment (the missus is visiting her parents).
It has all the kit internally but the other stuff is still in the garage.
I'm probably going to put the winch, raised air intake & steering guard on shortly but I just need to work out what springs to put on the front to compensate. I also need to finish the work I'm doing on the 110...

Hmm, didn't spot it when I was out on my run this evening.
You need the HD springs on the front, haven't got the part number to hand but if you have Microcat it does list them as an option.

The vehicle on your link was probably made by LR Germany as a Selections/ Promo event as all 2009 event vehicles were built as RHD TDV6 ;)
It is an interesting one, but seems pricey...

This is not an event car hence parts of the kit could be missing, like the expensive Hellas (£300 each...) and maybe some other things. The event cars also had 2 spare wheels, jerry cans, etc...
I remember in the selections in Brazil last year they had a Defender Puma also with right stickers but missing some of the equipment...
