Spotted this morning BK08 WFR. Parked up just of Clapham Common. No kit fiitted as seems to be the way with the Freelander 2's

One of the chaps at Strastone that had a Freelander 2 G4 in to sell told me that the majority of them were arriving with dealers stripped of their kit, he did not know why as it lowered the price of the car and the majority of people wanted to add the kit back to them from day one! One theory was LR had not got the cash to kit them out in the first place and just sold off the cars having already been sprayed Tangiers, anyhow just some gossip to pass on with regard to strippers on Clapham Common!

Just sighted the naked stripper again on Clapham. BK08 WFR parked up on north side of the common.

although painted the Freelanders and RRS were never kitted - it was cancelled before they could complete them.....

Only Recce and UK PR  Freelander / RRS got kitted

Does that mean we can't call them naked strippers anymore?

How about naked painted ladies?

Just because some of us don't have much up top we still have the underbody protection, so she still has her knickers on. :w00t:

Not fur coat and no knickers - just the opposite, certainly not nekkid.

Got the underbody stuff, got the dog guard and extinguisher, got the tow hook, got the body kit, got the door stickers.

Need in order of preference: Wheels and tyres, spots (could fit to roof bars), roof rack.

Fur coat and no knickers is probably not uncommon on the common.

Even in their undressed state they still look fab. I think Tangiers suits the Freelanders most out of all the naked models.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of any facelifts.

Looking better at Eastnor

not quite so polished

after a gentle swim

The only "let down" was the lack of wading depth, the experience D3's were at thier limit, and as yet no-one does a snorkle for a FL2.  Still at least both FL2's made it back under thier own steam :w00t:  Took hours to get the mud out from inside the underbody protection.

She won't be doing much off-roading with the side steps fitted then.
