it was alan in his 130 ,following me in my d2 ..we had to get the cooking trailer from gaydon to carry out repairs as there had been a fire in another trailer next to it

so you live in hinckley ?

or just travelling through

.cause i live in hinclkey

By cyoules - 14 Dec 2009

We live about 8 miles out of Hinckley, so pretty close!

Didn't see the D2 - the 130 had just pulled up on the verge on the A447 - was hoping for a convoy!!

Cheers

Hi Dave - if you let me know when you're going off road etc that would be great.

Car is a G4 Range Rover Sport - BV55 YZD, but currently on a different plate.

Could be available for next April - let me know the details...

I'm over Market Bosworth/Shackerstone way - there's a G4 110 I used to see quite a lot around Sheepy/Twycross way - presumably doing the ford!!  Not seen it recently though.

Cheers

If you want an 08 D3 let me know.

Chris,

You'll be glad to know that BV55YZD has already done one wedding, Bride to Church so she's an expert !

I hope your looking after her - the car that is !

Regards

Paul

Alan, I might still be Ok for that wedding if an 'old' d3 is acceptable :D

Best get used to seeing another Sport in the area, I lodge in Market Bosworth during the week (live in Sth Wales, work in Leicester). BV55 YZE, soon to be X8 MNM. :)

Driven through the ford near Sheepy many a time in my old P38, might have to give it a run through with the RRS.

By ManxG4 - 29 Dec 2009

Hi Mike.... X8 MNM is a an IOM number isnt it? :w00t:Cheers Rod (on the IOM)
By MikeS - 2 Jan 2010

No, it's my private plate, although my old P38 did spend 2 years on the IOM with a VMN reg if I recall.

MNM is my wife & I, Mike and Michele. Friends have called us M&M for years, so we bought plates to match it (wife has X3 MNM, which used to be on her X3 :hehe:). Crap I know, but it made us chuckle.
