Well a few weeks ago we had the family 90 stolen from our drive and no trace. 3 years ago it was the LR experience 110 XS from the same spot. So no Defenders in the family at the moment.

I always park a newish defender hard up to a wall, seemingly they take out the headlight and put hand in to disconnect the horn ! So its worth having a blanking plate in way of head light or a small dog that can bite the hand :)

Thats annoying to know now. I have just refitted my horn, the mounting plate had broken, allowing the horn to drop into the cavity under the headlight meaning no earth. Sounded like a phart when used. Should have left it where it was. Took about 1o minutes to get to it with the light guards and A bar in the way.

Dave, saw it drive off in the video footage, Sally switched off the proximity alarm during the day for gardening and forgot to check it again in the evening. It didn't take them long. The incredible cheek is that it happened at 10.23pm when the last person had gone to bed and the house lights were just switched off.

Bumpy, a very good idea. Post could do with being in our our technical area.

Still no response from he police.
