My venturecam/torch doesn't work and it 'appears' to be down to the internal battery pack (6x1.2V AAA rechargeable NiMH or LiMH).
Land Rover warranty says 'not covered' and the main stealer says 'yes they all do that sir, but we will be glad to replace it at £277 plus VAT.
Does anyone know where to get the battery pack. I have tried Maplins and numerous model shops ,but no luck. My fall back position is to get some tabbed rechargeable batteries and solder up a pack but I don't know if they are Ni or Li or what rating they are.
Anybody got any bright,cheap ideas?

try rs components they are on the web and are one of the biggest suppliers of this type of stuff.
