Is the front plaque mount used on the D2 different to the type used on D3/Sports?

Plaque mount on D2 is completely different to the ones used on the D3 and the Sport.D2

Would the ones that one of the members (xlb89) have kindly had made for the Defender fit?

They should fit as long as they are for the Safety Devices roofrack.
