Hi All,
went to use my winch today(pulling a beemer out of the snow) , the winch worked fine on the way out with the remote, but wont wind back in at all.
any idea where someone can look at it - it is a warn winch and I am based in staffordshire.

May be a silly idea but did you have the freespool lever the correct direction.
Will it wind in under no load

Sounds like a failed solenoid, a common problem.

yep, had the lever the right way to spool in..
it wasnt under any load when I tried - not a peep out of it!!
if it is a solenoid, any ideas who may be able to look at it?
