I have seen another G4 for sale today, it is a LE. CF53 BVK
What sort of spec should be with one of these and again is it real not just a repaint?

Just been to see discovery g4 KW02 BYK and was told car was actually in the challenge is this correct.
If so not long till being a owner !

That one looks like a USA event vehicle from 2003 but Adrian is the man to confirm that. I've got a Freelander 2 for sale if you're interested and another member currently has his D3 for sale too.

This one is looking very good so far, its left hand drive but seems to be original and looked after. A few parts are missing but hopefully I can replace them if I get it.
Be interested to find out if it is genuine one from the USA event first though.

For the 2003 event, our data base is lacking the UK registrations although we are gradually building this. You may want to send Adrian the VIN number which would be easier to match.

This is a G4 Challange, USA 2003 event D2, 4.6L V8.
This could be the only G4 USA 2003 D2 in the UK.
Saw it for sale with Edwards Car co 25-08-11.

Did you find out any more info on CF53 BVK? Have been interested in this one too, but the chap that owns it is very hard to get intouch with, its also a virgin ebay account, this always makes me twitchy.....
Any info from anyone else on this 'G4' Please?

Help with G4 info please. I am looking at a Disco 2 G4 thats for sale, This one has no winch, no roof rack, ladder etc. The ad states it to be an SE, but I have had an autocheck done on it and it comes back as a GS, it does not mention G4 at all?
Do Land Rover produce limited numbers of G4 vehicles that are not 'challenge' prepared? Are these just Limited Edition vehicles withno real improvement on standard spec?
Any help would be great, thanks

if it is a 03, 53 or 04 plate then it is most likely to be a G4 LE.
These came in yellow, orange black and silver.
These were based on 'base model' plus:-
Block Mogul Technical fabric seats
'A' frame front protection bar
Front and rear lamp guards
Air con
CD player
Cruise control
SLS
Lockable roof crossbars
Large tube roof rails
Style 3 16" alloys
G4 Edition decals

My log book show's "es". GS or SE are the same car depending on which side of the pond you're on !!!!
