Evening,

Been meaning to join for ages although I only have a lowly G4 LE. That said it's seen me through good times and been a good service to my family and friends.

Having had a look at the "How Many Left" site it would appear G4 LE logbooks are rarer than a lot of other LR special editions. I could be wrong but it looks like only 50 G4LE 110's were made?

Still mine gets plenty of use as an Aerial Mast Photography unit as well as daily car (occasionally) and as a tow motor for the trialer or racer.

This is it with the wheels and tyres off my trialer (swapped them to set out a comp safari and then do some greenlaning a few days later)

Hope to pick brains now and again if that's OK?

Cheers

Phil

Cheers All!

It does have a life but it gets pampered these days. Less than 4K miles a year, lives indoors and gets washed before bedtime.

But when it's out it has get used!

The rock pic was doing Walna Scar for the few brief days it was open in 2010.

Came through without a scratch! Just.

Still a lot easier than the average CCV especially as you're allowed to stop and think about it!

I like my photography I admit although I don't seem to take that many of the 110. Managed to sneak one in while posing for one of the mags doing a td5 feature:

I've just had it out in the nice weather to attack the comically pants G4 accessories that make passing Lancia Owners laugh in attempt to stop the rot. As it is the hoop came out OK as did a few other bits but the light guards would need a bead blast and 2 pac and the bumper needs doing again. Everytime I painted it something either flew into it, dropped on it, or in my case walked into it!!!

I quite like the "gloss" look instead of the Satin finish but 2 of my other landy's have gloss cages so it seems to fit. Might make the rivet counters splutter though!
