Are they really worth £100+ after 6 years ???
Seems a little OTT, but if it's that good a tent then so be it !

Dont forget, although quite a few were made the survival rate might be a bit small, I know quite a few were trashed on the Challenge itself.
And it is probably because they are 6 Years old now, that One in good condition is worth that sort of money, of course if you are prepared to pay for it.
Besided being a usefull tent, and of course matching my 110 mine is in good nick, and yes if I sold it would want what I think is a reasonable price.
Only REAL problem is the flies n stuff love to colour almost as much as us G4 lot do.

Fair enough. I bid on it but it went beyond my maximum. We'd still want to use it quite a bit over here and we're looking to buy a couple of tents at the moment, nice to have one to match the car but not enough to pay £165 for it.

Blimey... Maybe I should flog my one!
Mike - Out in Oz, you might want to have a look at a canvas tent. Nylon tents get very hot as soon as the sun is up, where as the canvas ones stay quite cool.

Yeah, we're not mad keen on a nylon tent it has to be said, but they are good for just flinging up quickly & pack up very small so the Khyam one looked ideal for the occasional overnighter for the 2 of us. The Oztents are a little larger when packed than we want for weekends away, albeit they are great. For longer trips we're definitely looking at a canvas tent though, for the exact reasons you say. Probably go for a camper trailer.
1st dibs on your tent though
;)
