Hi all,
Shopping for a G4 Disco at present.
Just looking through the spec that the G4 has as extra.
Cannot find info on the Warn Winch Bag Kit p/n 34024.
Is it a bag for the winch or is it a kit with other items.
Some items are missing from the one I'm looking at. Should the garage source the items or is it not that essential they are present?

Hi Ian,
The winch bag kit contained IIRC:- winching sail, gloves, hook strap and pulley block.
There will be few G4 vehicles that have every item of equipment listed. The important bits to check that are there are things like roofrack, plaques, lights, winch and mounting and internal load space guard/bins. These are the most expensive parts to replace and some of these are also the most difficult to find.
If they are missing, they can still be found amongst owners and places like gumtree and ebay etc. Do not discount a vehicle because it has a couple of bits missing as you may be looking for some time. The club has a supply of most of the decals for most of the vehicles as well as plaques and memorabilia available to members.
Removing decals and equipment is easy to do but replacement by subsequent owners is very expensive and takes time.

Hi Adrian,
It has pretty much all items listed.
Only missing items are strops and water/ fuel cans.
Is the load guard the standard Disco cargo barrier. As I full height dog guard style?
Not sure what the bins are.
Winch is present and dealer has tested it. No winch cable as they cannot guarantee its safety/ integrity.
Put deposit down fingers crossed picking it up on Friday.
