Thanks for all replies to be my last post -'Considering Buying 08 D3G4'.
Well I am now the proud owner of said car, and well pleased with it, had it just over a week and covered some 1000 miles, running around and back & forth to work. It is a pleasure to drive, I'm looking forward to some off-road / green lanes in the next few weeks.
Membership Form & cheque has been sent in to formally join this Club. I am planning to attend the LR Spring Show in Yorkshire on 17th to 19th May, hope to meet up with a few of you there.
I'm based North of Aberdeen so guess will not see many of you, except at shows.
Thanks once again, for data and encouragement.

Yes, I noticed you get noticed in the Big Orange Thing as my daughter calls it.
Everyone in the village I live in keep saying 'I see you have a new car then?' I'm suprised they noticed it myself, didn't think it stood out that much.!!!!!!
Will post some photos when it stops snowing....... and I've washed it.

Hi Dave, and welcome from one of the other G4 owners from "North of the Border" (just south of Edinburgh). We went to Driffield show last year as our first G4OC event and had a great time - planning to go to Harrogate in May so hope to meet up with you (and others) there - nearer the time, and once we know exactly what our plans are, could perhaps meet up on way down. Sounds like you're already getting a real buzz out of driving your G4D3 - we get that permagrin feeing every time we use ours, weekend trips, camping, off-roading with Scottish Land Rover Owners Club etc. Our daughter loves it too. Even got to use the winch in earnest a couple of weeks ago, recovering a Toyota Hilux from deep in a ditch off the side of a snowy road in deepest Fife. Is yours fully kitted up? Pics? Cheers, Alan
