Very quiet here today....So, who did what over the weekend? Any kit sourced / broken? Did anyone get out and use their vehicle(s)? I've still got a decent clonk going on when changing up through the gears. Not every gear change but enough to grate. Sounds like play in the rear axle - definitely coming from the back. Waiting to get that sorted before having a proper play.

Not so much stuff I have done but jobs that will need doing! The top of my snorkel is rapidly losing the paint and will need to be removed, sanded back and re-painted soon. One rear reverse light is cracked and full of water and I have some drive line vibration which I can't pinpoint. Only felt at low speed and happens on and off throttle. Similar but not as pronounced as the vibe I had last year when a stone got stuck between the ACE Valve block and chassi so might be more of the same hopefully!

Awww, go on do tell :hehe:I was thinking it would be good to organise something like that for the club, maybe something to discuss as Gaydon I managed to get the G4 dirty at the weekend, not the Disco but....

There were actually 10 G4's and a couple as spares. 2 110's a Rangie, Sports and D3's. The 110 I was in is out of picture to the right inthe B4 picture and far left in the after.A competition was held last year like a free to enter draw, goodness how mant thousand entered, I was told but forget now. The prize, a weekend activity at Eastnor Castle. Sat arrive, bacom butties in the octagon room, 2 groups, off road and activities, swap in afternoon. Lunch in the Castle. Off Road was like a taster. Evening meal and overnight in Castle complete with guided tour. Sun, brekky, SEVERE off road till 2pm Dinner in Castle. 4pm depart. A good time was had by one and all, I think.

oohhh:cool: and you got to take your own vehicle or were they all LR supplied, sounds like a very cosy weekend. by all accounts the food is superb there and i would imagine the accommodation was good.glad to hear you enjoyed it was succesful in your application ps its not a bearing thats gone in the drive train, only showing up when the axle/ prop flex under load? regards martin

I didnt get to stop in the Castle. That was guests only. I was WORKING, yes I did say WORKING:D Only had some grub there. LR supplied vehicles. I just have to sit in the front passenger seat and keep my eyes closed!! :w00t: It realy is an awfull job, but someone has to do it.
