had a quick trip to the stealers in wakefield at the weekend, nothing serious, just showing off Garfield.

got talking to one of the sales reps, and he said that a RR G4 had been in for service last week?

any one owning up or know who's it is so we can add to the register.

My sport is in the dealers, in Exeter. last week got a phone call for a friend to say they had seen it going north on the M5 !!! checkek with the dealer, and was not them ;),

Then over the weekend, i spotted another/same one, heading south, near the same spot, so that must be 2 of us down here !!!

Hi Mark,

Have a look at my photo page and you will see me standing on top of your RR! I took from the Freelander2 launch in Morocco (where we were using it as a run-around, with a load of other ex-G4's) to Richard Bransons seriously posh hotel in the Atlas mountain foothills. I had been driving RRS's D3's and Defenders in my G4 experience, but had never properly driven a RR before, so this was my first RR drive ever!

I'll send you the original shots if you want, but i posed your vehicle in front of the snow capped Atlas on the way up the final pass, which'll be a nice shot of your new motor! I didn't even rag it either, i'm a very sympathetic driver - honest!

I just came across this whilst looking at 2003 G4 RR.

Is marco's from the 2003 or, are there any 2003 RR's in the club yet.  I bet one would be cheaper than say Tim's for instance:)

Tony,, remember their is a difference between RR (full face range rover) and RRS (range rover sport)  Sport only came out for 05 year !! (personality, after having a couple of FFRR, and would never buy another !!, the Sport IMO is a far better vehicle)

Coat on, and out the door :w00t:

FFRR stands for Full Fat Range Rover!

I was told it meant Fat F Range Robber!!:w00t:

All joking aside,

Isnt the FFRR a shorter vehicle than the D2 in body length, don't know about wheelbase.

Would a 2003 G4 RR be better off road than a 2003 G4 D2 (excluding driver ability) to handle?

By General Lee - 6 Aug 2007

FFRR is a far better vehicle on road and offroad than a D2
