Hi, Yes, I know that feeling so well, having been forced to sell my beloved Orange machine, and I also hope mine has found a loving home. I just wait for the day when I have the money spare for another - may not be too long now !!

Hi from the only other Freelander V6. If I was offered that I would not sell. Before I bought mine I checked Autotrader, Ebay and others to see what a non G4 HSE was worth - then went ahead and got mine. Worth every pound - Keep it for now - or - - regret it. It is The Only other one in the club - World?

Hi
There's not many of our freelanders about, I know I've thought about selling mine but I couldn't bring my self to do it and I'd miss it too much. As for how much its worth. Its only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. nice looking FL

Hi Dr Brindley, such a pity that it has to go, as when its gone you will truly be sad - and it hurts like hell !! Like I said, take it from one who knows.
Only wish I could afford it.
What about a Massey 690 4x4, old L/R with freewheeling hubs (with a bit of chassis left) and 4 goats !!
Interested ?

Oooooo a Massey 690. A mate had a 690 turbo. I loved the noise of the turbo whistling. We used to have a 699 4x4 multipower.

Hey Phil, just to tempt him more, what if I throw in the old Dai Brown 1390, and the Governess Trap !!
That will make room in the shed for a Freelander wont it - then it can be company for my old XJS - C.
Regards, Tony

Hi Gary, Thanks, but I was thinking more of a deal with Dr Brindley. I just got to get another Orange machine - its like an infectious disease, or craving for a fag. The lesson is: NEVER sell them in the first place because they are special !!
I think there is only Stu and me in Wales with such a love. (sorry all you Landy guys in the Valleys)

Guys and gals, the lovely freelander needs to go to a good loving home. I'm willing to drop the price maybe £12,500???
|
By DrBrindley - 14 Mar 2014
Thank you. I have a ticket myself! If mine come up it would not be for sale anymore!!!!
|
By Hillbilly - 16 Mar 2014
Same here Dr Brindley, I would also love to own it and cherish it - but it's not to be unless those numbers are right for me.
Just imagine taking it to Eastnor for the Saturday sessions around that Obelisk thing - then the water - did it with mine and enjoyed it - but now its gone and I miss it - got to get another !!
Remember the Winching Course - Baloo, - 'Get off the b---dy rope' etc, etc, !
Best wishes,
