The Discovery 3's were used in almost every way conceivable - in Stages 1 and 2, 15 vehicles were used for Press and with 2 as permanent workshops, whilst in Stages 3 and 4, 22 vehicles were used as Team, Support, Workshops and Recce Vehicles. A single vehicle appeared in Brazil as part of the 'fan' of cars shown at the edge of the beach. This one was in Stage 1 and2 in Thailand and Laos.Own a piece of history.
This car return to LAND ROVER after the 2006 G4 Challenge with less than 2000 miles.

I sell this car after 3 years because a camel trophy defender will be my new adquisition.
I enjoy this car so much. I used every day and of course every weekend.
As an ex mod land rover Defender Owner i had tried to find the D3 limits and believe me i cant find then in this great D3 G4.
Normaly in the defender there are no limits in the way it goes off road and belive me i pass the red line limit of 45 degree side and front.
In the discovery i have to stop with the limits because the car still going and going and then you start to think in the cost of any possible damage . This is not cheap to repair as a a defender. But with good hands the D3 G4 going further than a Defender.
Yes it still has the Uk registration as i never change to Spanish registration.
I keep running and used (not abused) this car with lots of care and love, maintained and upgraded to be better D3 G4 than when i bought 3 years ago.
I spent lots of money in some upgrades like 2000€ LPG professionally converted, 600€ in a new D4 air suspension compressor, 1500€ spare wheel carrier, 1000€ in 4 new GOODYEAR MTRs tires, privacy glasses, original Dome kyhan tent, 27 mhz integrated cb radio. Serviced every year, stored warm in a closed garage. This car is in the warm and dry south of Spain and there are no rust in any place.
Yes im sure this car should stay again in this club and of course if Alan want this car again back in his hands he will have priority to buy before any other person as he was the founder if the G4ownersclub and also the previous owner of my car.
As i have advertise in many cars sale webs i receive many inquiries about the car.
