Does anyone have any pictures and the spec of the 2006 mountain bike, cannot find anything on the web.

Hi Stephen and welcome to the forum,
From looking at the bikes used in the various 2006 G4 videos on You Tube, this picture is the best close up I can find on the internet:
Really not sure about the headstock, looks a bit out of place in bright red so is probably a replacement or upgrade to the original? The rest appears to be correct, frame, forks etc. However, I am no expert being a G4 Newbie myself so there maybe others in the club that can offer an oppinion...

Thanks Paul, the one I have has identical frame and forks, the original sticker with Takashi Sugiyama the rider on it (on a much more in keeping black headstock). I have an alex rims FD 28 front wheel on a Kore hub, but it is missing the back wheel. I has an aligned set of scratches on one side where it was put on the roof and obviously rubbed on the canoe. I am trying to do some more research to bring it back to original and hope someone here has the info I need. The picture you have shown has different rims, not sure of the make, but my "MTB" friends will be able to tell me that.
I'll call on to the stand at Peterborough - I have a 62 series 2a, an ex Factory Demonstrator (probably) 1984(A) Land Rover 90 CSW in almost original condition, and a 1998 ex Factory 110 SW, so have the LR bug quite badly - saw the bike and knew it was right - does having the bike mean I can join the club ?
Any info/photos gratefully received.

hi stephen
you can join the club ,anytime you like , and join us on none offical events with your landrover ,
are doing quite a few non landrover shows now , and other events has the club grows ,
so you dont need anything orange to actually join the club
, the only thing you cant do is put your non g4 landrover on club stand at events

Hi all
Is anyone bringing a G4 bike to Peterborough LR Show - or does anyone have some more pics/spec of the bike. I'm still trying to find out info for mine so I can rebuild it properly.

Bike now restored with the correct running gear as per the original I saw at Peterborough last year, drives just like a Land Rover should.
I've put a plastic cover over its original label to protect it for posterity.

Looks great - You have got a true rarity there, normally the only bikes that are put up for sale are the ones sold by LR dealers.
Well done sir, if you are going to Peterborough please bring it along to the G4 stand so that we can ogle over it and take some pics.
