Hi everyone

As a new owner of one of the distinctive orange machines, the club owners was my first step towards getting to know more about the car and the events (and also meet a bunch of nice people ;))

As a suggestion, could we add a section with "Basic To Do List" with suggestions like where to install cable for winch, rewire lights, stickers, CB radios, event equipment availability and maybe some suggestions on maintenance (particularly for those poor souls that bought event cars from the Bolivia stage like me:w00t:...

With the release of more cars towards the end of the year, we should expect more people joining with the same questions...

I'm happy to compile this data at Peterborough and organise it if others agree...Let me know

If I completely missed the point and this is already in a single section that I had not seen, accept my apologies first hand..:Whistling:

Hi Augusto,

Hmmm- -good idea!

We could either collate this info in the section for the vehicles from each year and then amalgamate together, or I could create a new forum section altogether that is just for How-Tos (which might be a better idea)

All thoughts welcomed!

Hi Peter,

Are we ready to move forward on Augusto's idea yet?

Hi Kim,

With the recent addition of the 2008/9 forum areas the list is getting quite long, so we're keeping an eye on how many new areas we add- the more we add, the harder it becomes to work out where to stick posts correctly :D

For now, if anyone can post any write ups they have in the appropriate technical section for each year (though i appreciate where do you stick something for a 110 that was used in  2003+2006? :-) ) then as the collection grows, i'll periodically move them into a new section on the main website instead. That way it means people can submit and critique, then i'll "publish" the final version as a permanent copy

How does that sound?
