not G4 related, but every Defender should have one, a genuine Hi Lift Jack HL-484. We bought it South Africa before over landing back to the UK. Only got used for tyre changes after all that, so never been abused and actually probably only used properly four or five times. Since then we sold the overland truck, and bought the Discovery, and unless I swap the bumpers for steel, I'm not going anywhere near it with a Hi Lift jack. So anyone planning a good overland project, then grab yourselves a tried, tested and trusted piece of essential kit. £50.
