Quote from Ebay

"I did have the G4 stickers removed as my 13 year old daughter refused to be dropped off at school with them on." :w00t:

Whats wrong with teenagers now ?

With that attitude, they should take the bus

Quite agree, my 6 yo thinks they are great, not sure my wife does though.

It looks very strange without them!

Interesting - the owner said it 'competed' in Bolivia - it was actually a recce vehicle and while would have led a fairly hard life, would not have competed as such.  It was more used to sort out the original sites and then left in location for the actual event - which is why it was on a 54 plate when most event vehicles were on 55 plates.

Update on G4 D3's on e-bay:

Nick's BL54 OYG with 50k has currently a bid of £9.3k, but still has 3 days to go (BIN price of £17.5k).

The auction for the sister BL54 OYF with 9k has ended with no bids above the initial price of £22.5k.

There is also a 55 plate LHD with balance of LR warranty at James French for £25k with 15k under the clock.

This car did not sell. Any ideas why the lack of interest? She looks like she was in good shape. The mileage was a bit high; however, that should have been offset with the equipment and heritage of the vehicle.
