Hard Shell roof tent on a G4 rack

Hello. Has anyone mounted a hard shell (Maggiolina AirTop) to their G4 roof rack on a Discovery 3? It looks to me like the outer rails will get in the way - do you need additional crossmembers mounted to these outer rails? Thanks.

@windymiller did a while back if I remember rightly.

You can remove the top section of the rack and fit the tent quite easily. You will need custom mounting clamps to fit the wide crossbars.

Our tent has been to Africa and now in Asia.
