Defenders, Range Rovers and Freelanders seem to be very hard to find over all, the only Defender 110 I know of for sale is this one.

There are a couple of 90 editions aroudn at the mo and they sit around the £20k mark, that said I dont think you will find an event car for much less than £25k these days unless you know of a complete shed that need the same again to repair it and get a ticket on it.

D3s are a lot easier to find as are the RRS at the moment.

If you want to know more about the vehicles and numbers for each of the models please see the Challenge section of the website at the top of the page. When there was only just over 450 vehicles built over the 3 event years they are a rare beast which is also why they hold their value if not increase.

Thanks Jon for the fast response. Ideally looking a Disco 3 then.

Noticed BD08 VSF appeared 3 times in the last year on ebay.
Seems strange it doesnt attract much interest.
Car known to the club?
Was going to bid on it but it was pulled from the auction with 5mins to go.!

Thanks again!

I believe it has been in the club before but not for a number of years.

If your wanting other cheaper options there are a few D2's around with club members that are also for sale. Both are 2003 Australia vehicles
Also bare in mind that all the 03 + 06 event vehicles were all petrol apart from the defenders and in 08 every thing is diesel.

Thanks Windy but just a bit too much for me.

I’m going to say it anyway (I counted to 10)

Maybe not in the long run it won’t be expensive..

There said it 🤔

Windy does make a valid point, all G4s are become old girls now in car terms. While the youngest is only 11 the oldest will be coming up on 17.
The youngest of these vehicles are all full of electronics which love acting like teenagers when it suits them.

Spending the extra cash would potentially save £xxxx's, That is the big difference between D2+3's... add an extra zero to the figure on the repair bill when some thing goes wrong.
I know first hand what windy has done/spent to the D2+3 he owns to get them to the condition they are now. They are worth a look to any one thinking about a G4 as they are complete cars... This will then only leave you event kit to find :Whistling:

Agree with both of you unfortunately not in the position to spend that amount at the minute.
