I have a 2010 LR4 with the V8 and close to 100,000 miles. I'm thinking of trading it in soon rather than deal with the ~$5000 timing chain job (although it is paid off..). My question is if anyone has had both a V8 and V6SC LR4 and could tell me what they thought. I love the V8 in the LR4 with all of the power and wasn't sure if I would be disappointed with the V6. My thought at the moment is to look for a 2015/2016 LR4 and this is the only sticking point I have. I know I could go to the dealer and take a test drive .. but that starts the annoying process of actually dealing with a dealer and I would like to try to avoid that if possible. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Unfortunately this is not a g4 model so chances of an exact answer are slim, I would try the Disco owners page.
The LR3/D3 was the last of the G4 line.
