Being my first post and presently looking for a G4, I thought it best to ask for any advice on purchasing one. We have owned a D3 before so have experience of the basic things to look for but the G4 is such a specialist vehicle it would be good to know what to look for and what influences the value.

The vehicles are all standard from the factory as far as the main vehicle is concerned... However all the additional kit that was put on by SVO we have listed on our vehicles page.

depending on which year you are looking at will depend on which engine you get, 06 is a 4.4v8 petrol and there are not many in right hand drive and for 08 they are TDv6 and they are all right hand drive and fairly easy to get hold of.
As for pricing, that will depend on service, miles and condition and give a price range of £16,000 to £25,000 with a warrenty. There is 1 currently available at the £16k mark that is owned by a committee member that has dropped in price over the last year and worth a look at as it has been very welll looked after and in very good condition. It will shortly be appearing in one of the Land Rover magazines.
