I have a G4 Freelander 2 (2008) looking to sell - has stiff steering at walking speeds , possibly needs new steering pump etc. Did a fluid and reservoir change last time this happened and it worked ok for six years - Only 104,000 miles on clock - in good overall condition - would rather it go to someone who can look after it and keep it on the road.

Had this issue with mine, A new steering rack fixed it, as its an all in one system about £800!
Good luck wit the sale. Would be good to know which of the 5 Non Reece Freebies this is :)

Thanks - that is what I have been told - I am not sure which of the five this is either - in fact I did not know there were five until yesterday when I read it on here. I actually thought this was maybe the only one and all the others were Discos etc..
I bought it from Stratstone LR dealership in Stockton-on-Tees in 2009.

I am afraid I have no idea, new to Freelander 2’s and also new to G4’s so probably not best placed to advise.
