I help run an outdoor community group here in Australia related to all things Nike ACG. As many of you may recall, ACG was the official apparel sponsor for the 2006 G4 Challenge. I've always found this connection fascinating and am hoping to learn more about it.

I'm currently doing some personal research with a plan to write up a sort of retrospective piece about ACG and the G4 Challenge, and as part of the process I'd really love to hear from anyone who was involved in the 2006 event and might have any stories, collections, or even just general insights about ACG apparel and other equipment (bags, gloves, etc.) that ACG provided for the competition.

I see there was a post many years ago from a member here who was involved in the comp and was selling ACG gear. I appreciate many here are more invested in the vehicle side of things (naturally!) but that sort of historical artefact has been really useful for my research, and I'm keen to find out even more if possible. Unfortunately the one online article that detailed the sponsorship to some extent is no longer available.

With that said, if you happen to have been involved in the 2006 event – whether as a competitor, crew, media, a spectator, you name it – and have any recollection of the ACG gear, I would be thrilled if you could please share your story here.

Cheers and all the best! Jay
