We just saw you going the other way and tried to wave.   Just on our way up from Sussex doing a tour around the Highlands from last tuesday to Sunday.

Amazed to see another G4.

looks like you had reasonable weather.

My was a work trip so only orange to keep my spirits up..

Is the road on the last set a green lane or a tarmac road.  If its a green lane where is it as it look interesting..

Good to know that it was a club car...

When you get about 3 hrs north of Loch Ness most of the roads are single track with passing places!~  even the main roads which are the only roads.

That one could have been the B869 or A838  I think!    Some of the roads we didnt pass anyone for 3 hrs on.  Lovely.

60% sure it was the B869  west coast Stoer / Nedd  towards Unapool or the A894 Scourie & A838 North to Durness

There were some 'tracks' off into the hills which I was tempted by but as we were on our own, didnt know where they went, and didnt want to get stuck we kept to the travelled highways.   It would be hard to expain to the AA that we were about 2 hrs East of the A838 on an unmarked track somewhere near Lock Carnaich inbetween various mountians stuck in the mud/off the track in a 4x4 defender and can they come and help us.....

We did have tents/food but only for a week.

Landrover Assist will turn out to tow you out if you do get stuck.....

As I found out in my Disco when I got stuck nipping accross a field which appeared dry but wasn't...:w00t:

The lads that turned out where will pleased to use their defender to get to me rather than just attending a road side.....:D

Hence the revised SPEC......and Anchor
