New Post Notification

A couple of things, the first has been asked before which is the facility to automatically be notified about new posts in a thread that you have participated in. Having to manually subscribe isn't as intuitive as other forum software and also you get a New Post email for every subsequent response in that thread.



Other software sends you one notification and you receive no more until you have visited that thread, which brings me on to the other :)



Can the New Post email be configured to show the thread subject? i.e. G4 Owners Club - New Post - Re: Heritage Weekend ?

Hi Darren,

First one is a bit tricky - I don't have access to the forum source code (as it's a bought in commercial product) so I can't alter the way it works as easily - the good news is that the forum author is claiming that the next version should have better subscription options so hopefully thats one thing that will improve :D

I can at least alter the New post notifications emails, so hopefully this should now show the titles!
