G4 Numberplate

Hello :)



Just posting on behalf of a friend of mine. He has the number plate 'G4 AWD' currently on one of his cars and wonders if it is of much value.



Could you just post your thoughts and let me know.

Someone would have it.

Probably more valuable to someone with the initials AWD though.

selling it on eBay would get you the best idea of value. You can always set a reserve.

Personally, I feel that the original number plate is actually part of the collectibility of vehicles like these. (I'm willing to bet that one of the first things you did when you got your G4 was to use the number plate to see if you could find pictures of it...)



My cars have been in loads of mags, etc... and without that number plate to cross reference it, all I'd have would be just A.N.Other G4/Camel/etc...



Or... Look at it another way: If it weren't for it's number plate, HUE166 would be just a nice example of a Series I.

I agree, probably not a good reg for a challenge car, but an excellent reg for an LE or replica, I would be tempted if I had such a thing.
