Hi Guys,

Firstly sorry to bother you!

Am trying to start the process of getting my hands on one of the G4 Recce 110s (PUMA spec) When they are put up for disposal.

Does anyone have any contact details / know how to get in touch with landrover to see if i can start the process of getting one?

Appriciate they are no where near being up for sale yet, but would kill myself if I missed an oportunity!

Hi

Join the Que,, :)

I would speak to a local dealer, as the ones for disposal, would i guess, being be going through the closed sale, sometime Jan 2010 maybe , like the one from the 06 event did

as tj says seeking out your friendly dealer is first step, not all will bother with closed auction's.

be prepared to pay a deposit as this will make them work harder in your interest and will show them a genuine buyer.

release dates will be announced later and bear in mind they may be used as recce vehicles for the following challenge as did the 52 plated for the 06 challenge and the 55 plated for the initial recce for the 09 challenge

regards

Can't you just order one through special vehicles?

The warranty would be of more value than any discount you get on a used one.

If the build quality of my D3 is anything to go by then they certainly don't care too much for the quality of work on the G4 event vehicles. On the contrary the special vehicles I've had use of in the past are top quality.

I'm taking my car to a safari park in the hope that the chimpanzees strip and refit the accessories - they'll be more competent than the chap that modified my front bumper to take the winch!

Hmmm.... I think you're missing the point here.
