Hi,I bid on the two ex-2009 Recce G4 Utility Defenders last week. Alan gave me a heads up on the condition of them i.e. they had a hard life in Mongolia! They were both sold last Thursday (28/05/09) at closed auction. My contact went there to bid on one for me. He said they were in good condition with no obvious hard knocks, but both were sold without any remaining LR warranty (I guess they didn't want any liability issues)! With around 14,000 miles on the clock they went for around £20K each (a bit too rich for me). Anyone in the club bought one?

Wasn't even aware they were gettimg released, but will definately be on the look pout for them. The lesser spotted 2009 G4 110. Expect I'll be acting like a cross between Sherlock Holmes and Bill Oddie of the next week or so :DDid your contact say if they had all the kit on them? Rich

Drifting off topic a little, but the 09 def. 90 G4 conversion is just round the corner from me, and although the stickering/branding isn't up to much she actually looks brilliant in the flesh. If I had a few quid lying around I'd be tempted as a fun car to mess around in. James seems to be getting his own little collection of G4's, my RRS, Alan's Disco 3 & now 2 110's, having just sold the MAd bike team 110.Sadly landrover forgot the windows in the back of the 110's :D
