2009 Defenders Sold!

Group: G4 Member Posts: 63, Visits: 448	Hi, I bid on the two ex-2009 Recce G4 Utility Defenders last week. Alan gave me a heads up on the condition of them i.e. they had a hard life in Mongolia! They were both sold last Thursday (28/05/09) at closed auction. My contact went there to bid on one for me. He said they were in good condition with no obvious hard knocks, but both were sold without any remaining LR warranty (I guess they didn't want any liability issues)! With around 14,000 miles on the clock they went for around £20K each (a bit too rich for me). Anyone in the club bought one? Expect I'll be acting like a cross between Sherlock Holmes and Bill Oddie of the next week or so :D Did your contact say if they had all the kit on them? If I had a few quid lying around I'd be tempted as a fun car to mess around in.
