I need a decent sert of A/T tyres for my RRS, think I will be going for General Grabbers.
I have an ex-G4 challenge vehicle currently fitted with 255/50/19 tyres. However, looking at the G4 spec sheets (http://www.g4ownersclub.com/Resources/2006/SpecSheets/SPECSHEET2006-RANGEROVERSPORT.PDF) they were fitted with 255/55/19 tyres for the challenge.
So, which should my car be fitted with and will fitting the 55-profile tyres affect my speedo and fuel economy (favourably?) at all? I would prefer the higher sidewall for a number of reasons: softer ride, slightly higher ground clearance and more protection for the alloy when offroad.
Cheers!

Tha standard RRS size on 19's was the 50 profile, but you cannot get MT/R's in 50, so they were fitted with 55's. That should make the Speedo slightly out, but not significantly

What did you go for in the end, Mike?
I'm looking to put General Grabber ATs on mine too, but I notice they do those in the correct RRS size (255/50 R19), as opposed to the Goodyear MTRs that were run (255/55)?
