Correct tyre size for G4 RRS - 255/50 or 255/55 R19?

Group: Forum Member Posts: 46, Visits: 163	I need a decent sert of A/T tyres for my RRS, think I will be going for General Grabbers. I have an ex-G4 challenge vehicle currently fitted with 255/50/19 tyres. However, looking at the G4 spec sheets (http://www.g4ownersclub.com/Resources/2006/SpecSheets/SPECSHEET2006-RANGEROVERSPORT.PDF) they were fitted with 255/55/19 tyres for the challenge. So, which should my car be fitted with and will fitting the 55-profile tyres affect my speedo and fuel economy (favourably?) at all? I would prefer the higher sidewall for a number of reasons: softer ride, slightly higher ground clearance and more protection for the alloy when offroad. Cheers!

Group: G4 Member Posts: 479, Visits: 2.6K	Tha standard RRS size on 19's was the 50 profile, but you cannot get MT/R's in 50, so they were fitted with 55's.
