Hi chaps. Newbie here looking for some help please. I have been looking for a defender now for a little while and have come across a model being described as a G4S for sale. I should say at this point that I live in France and there may be some variances between countries i guess. The vehicle was first registered in July 2009 and the owner assures me that the car is a genuine G4 limited edition. It is being sold via a broker (not unusual here) who has checked this with the supplying dealer who confirms this is the case. The vehicle has covered 78000kms and looks to be tidy from the details i have received to date. The car does not however bear any stickers/G4 logos and I wondered if these were an option originally or could you spec them without? I am struggling to find much info on the 2009 G4 editions/spec. I am aware that the G4 challenge was cancelled in this year so maybe not as much was made about the model in the press. Any info you might have or light you can shed would be much appreciated.

HI peter , are you english living in france , or french , cause somebody that should be able to help you is [ very disco ]... forum name ,, hes called jerome he lives in france and works for L.R.O also got a G4 landrover
suggest you drop him a pm so he can get back to you , if you do facebook , you might get him has well [ i dont ] currently 10 of or members are at spanish landrover show

HAS G4 EDITION,s GO , they only had small G4 EDITIONS stickers at the top of either wing , no other stickers

The LE was only available in 2003/04 If this is being sold as an genuine 09 vehicle then it can be only 1 of those prepared for the Reece in Mongolia or the regional qualifiers. A check on the vin number would clear it up!

Hi Peter,
From what I have found this is either a dealer special or one of the French G4 selections vehicles. It is a factory built Tangiers Orange D110.
