2009 G4 defender 110

Group: Forum Member Posts: 3, Visits: 28	Hi chaps. Newbie here looking for some help please. I have been looking for a defender now for a little while and have come across a model being described as a G4S for sale. I should say at this point that I live in France and there may be some variances between countries i guess. The vehicle was first registered in July 2009 and the owner assures me that the car is a genuine G4 limited edition. It is being sold via a broker (not unusual here) who has checked this with the supplying dealer who confirms this is the case. The vehicle has covered 78000kms and looks to be tidy from the details i have received to date. The car does not however bear any stickers/G4 logos and I wondered if these were an option originally or could you spec them without? I am struggling to find much info on the 2009 G4 editions/spec. I am aware that the G4 challenge was cancelled in this year so maybe not as much was made about the model in the press. Any info you might have or light you can shed would be much appreciated. Peter

Group: Administrators Posts: 816, Visits: 17K	The LE was only available in 2003/04 If this is being sold as an genuine 09 vehicle then it can be only 1 of those prepared for the Reece in Mongolia or the regional qualifiers. A check on the vin number would clear it up!
