IM in the middle of replacing the clutch on a freelander 2.0 tdi, all the bolts have now been removed from the bell housing and its still a complete swine to remove, i've broke the seal all the way around try'd gently prizing it with tyre levers to prize it open but dont want to damage it. Am i doing anything wrong? Is just stuck on the splines?Any help will be really appreciated.

Hi,

Clutches are normal easy to replace. Are there any dowls on the flywheel which the pressure plate which bolts onto. A good shake and a light tap with the hammer normaly removes the pressure plate. If that doesn't work upload a picture so I could have a better look.

Cheers
