HELP! Please

Group: Forum Member Posts: 11, Visits: 23	IM in the middle of replacing the clutch on a freelander 2.0 tdi, all the bolts have now been removed from the bell housing and its still a complete swine to remove, i've broke the seal all the way around try'd gently prizing it with tyre levers to prize it open but dont want to damage it. Am i doing anything wrong? Is just stuck on the splines?Any help will be really appreciated. Cheers Ian

Are there any dowls on the flywheel which the pressure plate which bolts onto. A good shake and a light tap with the hammer normaly removes the pressure plate. If that doesn't work upload a picture so I could have a better look.
