LR3/Discovery3 G4. BD08 VTG

Group: Forum Member Posts: 14, Visits: 134	In my continuing quest for a D3 G4 can anybody tell me how long Caffyns had had their D3 (VTT) & Paddocks have had theirs (KUE). I can't quite afford either so am going to have to do some serious grovelling. Knowing that they've had the vehicles for months may help my cause. Nick On RR's No. 4 & 5 respectively..... 1991 RR Classic 200tdiOff-Roader, modified to within an inch of its life! 2001 RR Bordeaux, as original as when it left the factory. Did sneak a 2003 D2 in there once aswell.

Group: Forum Member Posts: 14, Visits: 134	Sorry but I need a winch, snorkel, off-road tyres etc for work (and a bit of play!) If I don't succeed in getting either of these G4's I will be buying a 2009 D3 and fitting the extra gear myself. Apart from the obvious temptations of a G4 vehicle there is also the insurance to consider........ as LR fitted all the extras it doesn't count as modifications and my insurance quotes for a G4 have been substantially cheaper (..... but still not cheap!!!) than for an identical D3 after I've fitted the same extras!!!! I'm sure insurance companies are a law unto themselves!!!!
