Information on my 08 d3 g4

Group: G4 Member Posts: 29, Visits: 155	Bit of a strange one. I’ve had this vehicle since 2011. It’s been to 42 countries and is currently in NZ. I’ve been wanting to get the car detailed and renew the decals. I’ve been in contact with the club and can order new decals no problem. However I’m confused. My vehicle is an 08. The original plate is BT08BTF. The confusing bit is the black protection strips halfway up the doors. Has the previous owner fitted these? Or should this car have them? Currently, I can’t see how the 08 decals would fit. Any help appreciated.

Group: Committee Members Posts: 230, Visits: 1.2K	I’m guessing they are aftermarket fitment. The door decals are also the wrong ones. So someone may have added the door decals and protection strips for some reason. The 08 decal package will not fit correctly with them in place, unless you cut them.
