The Red Cross train personel going abroad in 'Personal Security' - this is broken down into 2 main areas:
1. Military / Rebel
2. Administration / negotiation
If anyone is interested, we are looking for some volunteers to assist - its a turn up on Friday late afternoon (briefing) then set up on Saturday (you stay overnight Friday) in nice acommodation at Fire training colledge at Moreton in the Marsh (not far south of Gaydon) and finish around 5pm on the Saturday....Sat breakfast and lunch are free

,did this with alan , he took is 130 i took my d2 ..more g4 trucks would be better
we pretend to be soldiers ..we did last year and we get to kipnapp ,and terroitise the red cross people ..but they dont know that as there not told ...its hands on and real fun ..clothes provided as up can get wet /muddy

It is very easy - hopefully you would join in on 'my team' - we 'play' military check points, so the trainees come through a check point we man.
There is some blank firing involved and the final act is to 'rob' a group of Red Cross trainees.
If you can bring your vehicle, its usefull; but not essential
Its not hard work and food / accomodation is provided free - you can also claim back your fuel costs.
I've been involved for around 3 years and it can be good fun - even when it rains!!! Alan
