James May takes a new 5-door Evoque on an adventure from Nevada to Las Vegas. Both a Coupe and 5-door Range Rover Evoque will also feature in the studio. The BBC's Coast programme explores the origins of Land Rover On Sunday 10th July at 9.00pm the BBC 2 programme Coast will include a feature on the origins of Land Rover. The programme covers the story of two brothers who were on holiday on Anglesey in 1947 when one had a brainwave for a completely new kind of vehicle. There and then he sketched his notion in the sand - but this was an idea that would survive and endure. Dick Strawbridge explores how that coastal blueprint became the plan for the Land Rover. All of them in the outside lane, headlights ablaze, so not raising attentions at all :w00t: Read an article this week saying the 1st years production is already sold out, 18000 advance orders it reckoned.
