Freelander 2 off road mods: air intake, front winch, exhaust guard

I have a stock 2008 LR2 and I'm looking to make a number of mods to it: Raised air intake Based on the tech specs for 2009 G4 mantec supplied something similar to this: http://www.mantec.co.uk/productdetail.cfm?theProductID=6103F7F1-15C5-F4C0-9955B6580953AACF for the Freelander 2. Does anyone know where one is available? Front winch mount It looks like there was a winch mounted on the front bumper of the Freelander 1s during the early competitions. Any reason why this couldn't be done on the Freelander 2s? Mantec exhaust guard Looks like mantec supplied exhaust guards for the 2009G4 but I couldn't find them on their website. Does anyone know where I can source these from? Also, I've noticed the Mantec front sump gard is popular. Is there a reason for that? The stock sump guard seems pretty sturdy and has held up well in my off-roading so far. --- 2008 Landrover LR2/Freelander 2. Photos @ details on my LR2 blog. Installed a stock roof rack, CURT hitch, and ROMIK bull bars. Looking to install a bumper mounted winch, skid plates, lift the tires, install a snorkel, and possibly even install a roof rack ladder. Would love to hear from anyone that has done this.

Group: G4 Member Posts: 1.1K, Visits: 22K	I own one of the F2s that were used on the Mongolian recce, for the cancelled 2009 event. These were not fitted with snorkels and the spec sheet is wrong in suggesting it. Due to the complications with the normal air intakes one was never manufactured. There is no official kit to fit a winch to the front of the F2, but if you do a Google search there are pictures of someone in Europe who has fitted one. The vehicles are fitted with both front and rear protection plates from Mantec; both are available direct from the company. The front one covers the plastic tray already there, so offering more protection. The rear ladder is also made by Mantec; drop them an email as they might do you a deal! Anything else, please PM me. Group: G4 Member Posts: 94, Visits: 5.4K	The FL1 had an exhaust back box that was prone to off-road damage hence the exhaust protection plate. The exhaust on the FL2 is well out of the way, but the plastic fuel tanks are not - hence the rear protection of the FL2 is further forward. The forward protection plate tends to be used as a skid, shoving soil etc. out of the way, continued use of the original front skid in this manner rapidly results in wear / damage.
