Cheers Yes, both the D2 & D3 winch mounts were standard parts but Mantec may well have developed the D2 one. I'm fairly sure that Warn developed the D3 mount. Group: Forum Member Posts: 264, Visits: 2.9K	Jevo (7/27/2012) Hi all, Dumb question... my G4 Disco 2 is one of the special addition ones sold in UK rather than used on the actual expeditions and i'm planning on using it now for some overland stuff so want to start adding some of the G4 goodies. Can anyone tell me what the winch bracket was (and part number) and its part number please as i looked on the vehicle details part of the site and couldnt find it. Obviously the winch was a Warn but i'm not sure about the bracket... I want to stay official land rover bits too... Any help gratefully received. Thanks Jason FWIW - If you are seriously looking at doing some overland stuff, don't bother with a vehicle mounted winch... Use a hand winch instead. The only bits of G4 kit I'd bother fitting, if using a Disco on an overland trip would be: * Steering Guard * Raised air intake * Tank guard Don't bother with the winch or roof rack... I'd also recommend getting a copy of "Vehicle Dependant Expedition Guide" by Tom Shepherd. What isn't in that book probably isn't worth knowing!!!
