However, it’s still a Land Rover so perform all the usual checks when buying a vehicle and an inspection could save you a lot of money. Specifically on my D3 - here’s a list of faults that my car had (despite a current MOT certificate and clean MOT’s for many years): Knackered Turbo All suspension bushes were badly worn, two arms were damaged. Brake lines were dangerously corroded. I also took the precaution of having the timing belts and oil pump renewed as these are D3 common failures when not looked after. The Disco3 forum is a good source of horror stories specific to the D3 so have a good read and buyer beware!
