G4 in Sweden - inspection

Group: G4 Club Member Posts: 45, Visits: 498	I'll give you all a little story. I took my D3 to the swedish inspection yesterday to get it a set of swedish plates and to get approval for it in Sweden. Always a bit nervous for these occasions. Shouldn't be a problem with the cars being EEC approved and all. But still winches, extra lights (full working order...) and so on. When I drove in to the inspection hall, the first thing the inspection engineer told me was: "G4 Challenge, isn't that something I have seen on Discovery Channel or something, where they run and cycle and paddle kayaks and stuff?" From there on it was only downhill. And Sweden has an officially approved G4 Discovery 3 in it's records. Any swedes reading this are of course welcome to contacting me if they are considering buying one of these butyfull cars, and need help with the official stuff. /Christian G4 Discovery 3 V8 HSE with a new home in Sweden
