And I deserve every penny of that bonus, difficult customers n stuff.
As for the rear bumper, we are pretty good at popping them back on too.
Glad you had a great time.
See you again soon.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the kind words, you must have had a bloody big bonus this month. :)
Yes, I do want to come back and complete the second part - before I forget the first part, at my age the old memory aint so good.
Messing about in Ireland on the Forth Mountain unofficial off-road course - the old quarry by the masts, I pulled a short section of off-side rear bumper away from the body / wheel arch. I drove up the steep ramp but forgot the back end didn't I - stupid man - go on have a laugh :w00t:
All credit to Roger, and the Stratstone team at Newport, as when it went in for a service, they fixed it like new at no charge. :)
Keep smiling.

You cheeky so and so, I was'nt being grumpy, that was me being nice. You should see me when I am instructing the Instructors, then I don't have to be nice. I am sure Mark will back me up on that One.
Just in case any of you are wondering, first tim I met Tony I was asking what daft bloke was brave enough to drive the Orange Discovery around. Must admit, he did start bristling a bit and his chest puffed up. I thought he was going to ask me out for a fight :-) till I pointed out my car in the car park. Think I got you on that One Tony.
Glad you enjoyed yourself, great that you enjoyed Ireland. The time I had to spend there with LRE was great. Even if it did rain ALL the time we were there. Ever asked yourself why Ireland is called the emerald Isle? Well it is cuz the grass is so green.
Hope to see you back sometime, you could do with that second Day of the winch course, B4 you forget all the stuff from this One. Oh I forgot, you have been to sleep since, memory wiped!!
As for the beard, I am told that folks who grow beards have something to hide, well they are right, sort of :-)

Hi M,
I can imagine he must be hard work, Get him to shave the beard off. :w00t::)
Chris, ( Baloo ) I hope you will read this and send us your comments. :D
Being a Valley boy is one thing, but don't knock my Orange machine - 'cause it gets personal then. :)
Talking about my Discovery G4, it was great to have all the looks from fellow travellers both sides of the Irish Sea, and one guy in Tipperary got really excited. I showed him my info, and let him have a drive around the Supermarket car park - how's that for promotion !! :P
Back at our local Bar - Paddy's Bar, on New Line Road, near Murrintown - Co Wexford, on Friday night, having our last drink of G - and listening to the music, we were so overwhelmed with their kindness, that I donated a T shirt and Cap. They reckon they are putting them on the wall. ;)
The Orange machine did us proud - should be out of Brendans club now !!
Cheers all,
Tony

Hi All,
If you have not done this course then it is to be recommended, as from a Health and Safety point, it is superb.
I had some grumpy old sod called Baloo, who runs a G4 Defender amongst other things, and all he kept on about was 'get off my ropes' 'ropes live', 'stop dragging my ropes around' and 'is that 30 metres' ? Oh, my hand signals to the driver were 'rubbish' - was I trying to taxi a plane ??
On a plus note, all the winching kit came in an Orange / Black bag and I nearly got it - but he is a sneaky devil, and his eyes were everywhere.
To give him some credit, he took us to the Obelisk section and let my companion go 'swimming' - but he had to chops - 'watch that bloody bow wave'. (He let me do my 'swimming' at the wicker section)
All in all great day out, food was great, people great. - Thanks to all - including J.P.
That's it for a week now, as we are off to Ireland in the Orange machine - sailing from Pembroke Dock about 1.30am in the morning. - no, I'm not taking the Kayak, or the Bike.
Cheers,
Tony
